The Dish
d'Fish
- On
May 1 (this year, 2008, that is),
dinner service at Nora's returns to 7
nights a week. Yes, that chilly slog we
call winter is about to call it quits,
and with warmer skies come longer days
and more opportunities -- to eat
seafood.
- After much deliberation,
we've decided against offering lunch
this summer. The reason is simple. A
growing part of our business is
catering special events, and we need
the kitchen space to prepare for those.
P.S. Good things (i.e. dinner) come to
those who wait.
- Ask
about downtown Hood River walking maps.
We've got'm.
- Don't forget your
pocket-size copy of the Monterey
Bay Aquarium's Seafood
Watch guide to purchasing
seafood from sustainable stocks. It
guides purchasing decisions at Nora's,
and it'll help you when you go to the
store. How we spend our dollars CAN
make a difference in protecting the
world's ocean ecology.

At Nora's Fish House,
diners find something for every taste. Try
our take on classic dishes, or one of our
distinctive entrees. Either way, the
emphasis is on fresh seafood and meats
sourced from sustainable producers. Our
menu changes daily. To get an idea of what
you might find, use the link below to see
a menu from April. Please feel free to
call and ask us 'what's on' for
tonight.
We have a full bar with
speciality cocktails, and wines primarily
from the Columbia Gorge and Columbia
Valley AVAs, plus four beers on tap from
our friends and neighbors at Double
Mountain Brewing.
